Olive and Rose Christmas Wreath making event at The Grand Junction Arms, Bulbourne, Tring

I am delighted to announce that I have been invited to host a wreath making event at the Grand Junction Arms.   This gorgeous pub with ample parking has a canal side garden with the most beautiful, covered dining terrace which we will be using for the evening.   Think fairy lights, music and delicious treats, guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit.   Hopefully I can offer a couple of hours for you to unwind and relax or catch up with friends or family.  Come on your own, with a friend or even a group, everyone is welcome.  Anyone can make a wreath.  I so often hear people say they are not the least bit creative ……. I can assure you that creativity is there in us all.  Absolutely no experience is necessary, I will guide you step by step, constantly checking to see how you are doing and helping where needed.  Nobody leaves with a wreath they aren’t happy with!

What you need to know

The wreath making evening will be held on Saturday 2^nd December 2023 at 6.30pm at the Grand Junction Arms, Bulbourne, Tring, HP23 5QE. The workshop will last approximately 2 ½ hours.

Wrap up warm, it may be chilly!  Wreath making can be a bit messy so please wear clothing which you don’t mind getting a bit dirty or bring an apron.  You may also want to bring gloves to save your nails and some secateurs if you have some. 

The cost of the workshop is £70.00 per person.  The price includes everything you need to make a simply stunning foliage filled wreath to adorn your front door plus a glass of mulled wine and some festive nibbles made by the very creative Chef at the Grand Junction Arms.  We will make the wreath from scratch by applying moss onto a 12-inch wreath frame (standard wreath size).  We will then add the most beautiful fragrant foliage to our moss base (yes there will be lots of gorgeous eucalyptus as I know how much everyone adores it).  We will finish it off with a stunning velvet ribbon.  I’m afraid dried oranges and cinnamon sticks aren’t my thing, but I can assure you the variety of foliage we will use will allow the wreath to look simply stunning just on its own.

At the end of the evening you will return home with your own unique very natural creation proud to have on your front door.  Prepare for some neighbour envy though as they are just gorgeous!
