I can’t quite believe that we are now looking forward to Christmas 2023.  Is anyone else wandering where the year has gone?  I am delighted to announce that once again I will be offering my wreath making workshops this year.  The workshops take place at my home in Mentmore in a friendly and relaxed environment.  Think Christmas décor, Christmas music, mulled wine and festive treats. Hopefully I can offer a couple of hours for you to unwind and relax or catch up with friends or family.  Come on your own, with a friend or even a group, everyone is welcome. Anyone can make a wreath, I so often hear people say they are not the least bit creative ……. I can assure you that creativity is there in us all.  Absolutely no experience is necessary, I will guide you step by step, constantly checking to see how you are doing and helping where needed.  Nobody leaves with a wreath they aren’t happy with!

Luxury Wreath Workshop

The cost of the workshop is £70 per person – the cost includes everything you need to make a simply stunning large foliage filled wreath to adorn your front door.  If you wish to make a smaller wreath that’s fine too for £60 per person, using the same gorgeous foliage just on a smaller moss ring.  I will make the moss base prior to you attending the workshop (if you want to make your own that’s also fine, just let me know). I will show you step by step how to make your wreath using the most beautiful fragrant foliage (yes there will be lots of gorgeous eucalyptus as I know how much everyone adores it).  We will finish it off with a gorgeous velvet ribbon and for those of you who like a bit of extra sparkle add some finishing touches.  You then get to go home with your totally unique creation and be proud to have it on your front door.  Prepare for some neighbour envy though as they are just gorgeous!

Dates and times

I have published dates on the workshop page of this website.  I will update this regularly to show current availability.  Workshops last approximately 2 ½ hours, sometimes a little longer. If you wish to book as a group of 5 or 6 and can’t find a date to suit you all please do get in touch and I will do my best to fit you in on a day that suits you.  For larger groups please contact me as I may be able to accommodate you in our local village hall.

How to book

That’s easy – you can email me aly@oliveandrose.co.uk or use the ‘get in touch’ tab on the website or even message me through Facebook or Instagram via oliveandroseflorist.  Once you have chosen your date and I’ve confirmed there is space for you I’ll ask for a £35 non-refundable deposit so please don’t book unless you are happy with this.  If you are unable to attend on the day, I will happily make a wreath for you and deliver locally or provide a wreath kit along with written instructions.
